Privacy at Aircheck Radio

Information you provide

When you submit an aircheck, Aircheck Radio may collect your name, email address, preferred attribution, station or call letters, market, date or era, personality or show information, provenance or historical context, your authorization representation, and information about the uploaded MP3 file.

The submitted MP3 and related metadata are received for archival review. Submission does not guarantee publication or inclusion in the broadcast.

Email verification and contributor convenience

The submission workflow uses your email address to confirm that Aircheck Radio can reach you and to send submission-related messages. A verified browser may remain trusted for up to 60 days.

After a successful submission, the website may store your email address, contributor name, and preferred attribution in your browser's local storage so those fields can be restored on a later visit. You can remove that locally stored information by clearing site data in your browser.

Donations

Financial donations are processed by Givebutter. Aircheck Radio does not receive or store your payment-card information. Information you provide to Givebutter is also subject to Givebutter's own privacy practices.

Website analytics and technical information

Aircheck Radio currently uses Google Analytics to understand website usage. That service may receive technical information such as browser or device information, pages visited, referral information, and identifiers used for analytics.

The website and related services may also generate ordinary server, security, and operational logs needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

Service providers

Aircheck Radio uses service providers to operate specific parts of the website. These currently include Microsoft Azure for website, storage, and transactional-email infrastructure; Givebutter for donation processing; and Google services for analytics and organizational email.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the website and archive, verify contributors, receive and review airchecks, communicate about submissions, process or support donations through the applicable provider, maintain security, troubleshoot service issues, and understand website usage.

Retention

Retention depends on the type of record and its operational or archival purpose. Aircheck Radio does not publish a single fixed retention period for all information. Submission records and media may be retained while they are reviewed or preserved as part of the archive, subject to operational, rights, and deletion decisions.

Publication and archival context

Information supplied with an aircheck may be used to describe, catalog, credit, or contextualize material if it is accepted for publication. Aircheck Radio will not intentionally publish a contributor's private contact email address as archival attribution unless there is a separate reason and basis to do so.

Questions, corrections, and privacy requests

For questions about this policy, correction requests, privacy concerns, or requests concerning information you previously submitted, contact studio@aircheckradio.us. A request may require enough information to identify the relevant record and verify the requester.

Changes to this page

Aircheck Radio may update this privacy page as the website, archive, or service providers change. Material changes should be reflected by updating the effective date shown above.
