Preservation takes continuing work

A recording can survive for decades and still be lost in an instant when a tape is discarded, a hard drive fails, or the information that identifies it disappears. Aircheck Radio works to preserve both the sound and the historical context around it.

If you choose to help, financial support sustains the practical work behind the archive: responsible media storage, research and metadata, restoration and preparation, publishing, public listening, and the infrastructure that keeps these recordings available.

Why this archive is different

Radio history is not limited to nationally known personalities. A small-market overnight shift, a brief career, a local station, or an ordinary afternoon can be just as important to the historical record. Aircheck Radio gives those voices a place beside the names everyone remembers.
